Protect Your Stuff

A claim protects you from people messing with it without your consent.

Only you can build on your claim... maybe also your friends

Our claims are two-dimensional, meaning that everything from bedrock to build limit is within the claim.

To get started, you need a piece of glowstone dust. You can get this in the /kit called “Claiming”. It also comes with your starter kit.

How to make a basic claim

1) Check if there are any existing claims by holding a stick and right clicking the ground.

2) Decide a rectangular area that covers what you want to protect. In this image, it is illustrated with redstone blocks and dark oak planks.

3) Have the glowstone dust in your main hand.

4) Left click two opposite corners of that rectangle.

When you click the first corner, it should temporarily show a diamond block, like the image below.

When you click the second corner, it should temporarily show glowstone and gold blocks like this.

4) If you have enough claim blocks, a claim will be created.

If not, you can buy claim blocks with /buyclaimblocks

How to resize a claim

1) Have the glowstone dust in your main hand.

2) Click the corner you want to move.

3) Click the point you want to move it to.

Sharing your claim

1) Stand inside the claim

2) Do the command that matches the level of access you want to grant.

You can find these in the list at the bottom of the page.

Claim within a claim

Let’s say I want people to have access to my farm, but not my house.

1) Decide the rectangle you want to subclaim.

Note! It must be within an existing claim.

In this example, I have marked it with beacons.

2) Have the glowstone dust in your main hand.

3) Do /subdivideclaim

4) Right click two opposing corners of the rectangle.

On success, it will show temporary iron blocks and white wool where the subclaim is.

When you do trust commands while standing in the subclaim, it will only apply to that subclaim.
