The applicants have been given an Alias to limit bias.

I have not broken any rules of the server - MC or DC

Do you have moderating experience?

I moderated a few discord servers, two of them being 1000+ members RP advertising servers. I have no experience in moderating Minecraft server

Someone asks you to spawn in items for them. What's your response?

If there's a good reason and good faith, I'd consult other custodians about what I can do, but for regular situations I'd help them find a shop with this item or a player willing to trade

Why do you want to be a custodian?

I want to keep the server safe from raids, which is my main objective, but I also want other custodians to have easier time - less custoding, more freedom to just play around

I don't believe I have made any severe mistakes regarding the rules

Do you have moderating experience?

No, but I am fully willing to learn :)

It depends. Did they lose them in the void? Did they despawn? Were they stolen?

Why do you want to be a custodian?

I want to be a custodian because this, like most of us, is my safe space. I love everyone on this server and I can't stand to see people coming onto here just to be trolls and just to ruin our day. I also just want to do my part in helping keep this server as a little cozy corner on the internet <3

If this was due to a glitch of sorts or unfortunate accident and loss an OP item, I would confirm if it was indeed lost. If I was unsure, I would confer with another custodian or admin for advice. If they’re asking to me to spawn something just because they don’t feel like getting it themselves, then I would kindly decline to do so and explain why

I’ve been with this server for years and I would like to take another step in maintaining and protecting this community

Yes, I used to be a mod on a Wiccan server , but i left after I realized I wasn't Wiccan

Someone asks you to spawn in items for them. What's your response?

Depends, Did they lose a already exsisting item, can they not find it in any shops? Most likely I'd give them one of my own items ign instead of spawning a new one in.

Why do you want to be a custodian?

I love the server and I love the community the server has. I'd like to be able to protect the vibes from any people trying to troll or harass others, and I'd like to be helpful to others on the server.

I have, by accident, and either apologized (if relevant) or fixed the mistake (if relevant).

The server's rules can be boiled down to "be mindful of other players" and i am happy to oblige.

Not discord or minecraft, but i did moderate/admin on two small forums around 2007-2010.

A resounding no. but i might think about it for a very funny and not game breaking novelty item

Why do you want to be a custodian?

Grandma's house means alot to me, I may not be on 24/7 but I really love the server and want to help out where I can.

I may pushed the limits on the "keep chat appropriate" and "server is sfw" rules in terms of some memes and qotd answers (in terms of maybe making others uncomfortable? but idk bc im blind to it), but I really do see this server as a safe place and a place to grow and learn. It is about the intentions and willingness to learn from their mistakes if told your behaviour is inappropriate. if not, thats when further action is needed

Do you have moderating experience?

I use to run my own Roblox dinosaur fan group a decade ago. Jokes aside I also have lots of experience babysitting family and helping run summer camps, with professional training, so I have a deep understanding of the power dynamics and responsibilities that come along with any position of authority. I don't see it as getting "powers" others don't have, I see it as being trusted enough to help take the load off those who are already keeping this server running, so I can also help keep it running with my free time.

Depends on their username of the person asking lol, if they are an admin I'm going to listen. But if unsure in any sense, it will always be a no and helping them find where to get that item legit, if possible.

Why do you want to be a custodian?

Even though I might not be able to game in minecraft so much anymore, I want to be able to contribute to this community I know is important to so many people, and try to maintain it as a safe place outside of the storm people have to endure in their daily lives. Also hoping it will maybe motivate me to be more social within the actual game of Minecraft, instead of just building

Why do you want to be a custodian?

If there are more active custodians, the response time for trolls and other rule breakers is going to be much quicker, and I would like to be a part of that quicker response time
